Earl Lloyd was the first African-American to play in the NBA and is a basketball Hall of Famer for his three collegiate championships and outstanding play, professionally.
Manny Jackson is the current chairman and owner of the Harlem Globetrotters. Manny was a two-time All-Big Ten basketball player for Illinois and past chairman of the Basketball Hall of Fame.
David Lattin was the starting center for the Texas Western Miners in their NCAA championship year, 1966. A first-round pick by the Golden State Warriors, David starred in both the NBA and ABA.
